1. Factors Affecting Installation Quality
(1) Stainless steel hose clamps must not have pores, sand holes, shrinkage cracks, etc. as defects.
(2) The material and performance of the sealing ring must meet the requirements. The sealing surface must not have bubbles, impurities, cracks, unevenness, etc. Do not use aged rubber rings.
(3) The theoretical moving distance of the clasp within the hose clamp is half of the expansion and contraction amount of the joint. It is necessary to measure and verify. If it does not meet the requirements, it cannot meet the expansion and contraction requirements of the pipeline. To ensure the sealing effect, the left and right ends of the pipe that are matched with the hose clamp before leaving the factory, in actual engineering, it is not advisable to directly use ordinary pipes instead of the ends, and the perpendicularity of the end face to the axis and the flatness of the end face itself have certain requirements. 2. Installation Precautions
(1) Control the distance L between the clasp and the end pipe. The control of L should be combined with the instructions. When the gap between the two pipe ends is smaller, the clasp should be exactly pressed against the inclined surface.
(2) When the position of the clasp is determined, calculate the size of the gap between the two pipe ends according to the extension rate of the pipeline and the environmental temperature during construction. The size deviation should be ensured during construction.
(3) Under the premise of a certain moving distance, the height, width of the weld seam between the clasp and the end pipe, and the verticality error of the plane of the clasp to the axis of the end pipe are the greater, the expansion and contraction amount of the joint will be smaller, and the usage effect will be worse.
(4) The splashing impurities during the welding of the end pipe and the clasp affect the sealing of the end pipe. Before installation, remove the welding slag on the sealing surface to ensure the sealing effect.
